Attention : on écrit check in (action de vous enregistrer quelque part) quand on parle du verbe mais check-in quand on parle du nom.
Dialogue entre un client et un réceptionniste en anglais
Client (C): Good evening. I have a reservation under the name Smith.
Réceptionniste (R): Good evening, Mr. Smith. Welcome to our hotel. Can I have your ID and a credit card for check-in, please?
C: Of course, here's my ID and credit card.
R: Thank you, Mr. Smith. I see your reservation here. You're booked for a standard double room for three nights. Is that correct?
C: Yes, that's right.
R: Great. I'll just need you to fill out this registration form. It includes your contact information and any special requests you might have during your stay.
C: Sure, here's the form.
[The guest fills out the registration form]
R: Thank you, Mr. Smith. Your room is on the 5th floor. Here's your key card. Breakfast is included, and it's served from 7 AM to 10 AM in our restaurant. Is there anything else you'd like to know or any assistance you need?
C: No, that covers it for now. Thank you.
R: You're welcome. Enjoy your stay with us, Mr. Smith. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call the front desk.
C: Thank you. Have a good evening.
R: You too, Mr. Smith. Goodnight.
